I’m the proud owner and provider of Caring Star Medical Services. I’m a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a license to practice medicine in the state of Texas as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. I received my Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing Practice from Prairie View A&M University and Doctoral degree of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Also, I'm a University of Texas Medical Branch alumini. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I have experience in Family Medicine, Physical Medicine and Convenient Care, with a background experience in Women’s health, Maternal-child, postpartum care and Pediatrics. My focus is in providing holistic convenient healthcare for the entire family. I have also received special training and certification in Alternative Pain Management using joint and soft tissue injections.

What is a Nurse Practitioner?
Nurse practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses who provide care to patients throughout the lifespan, from premature newborns to the elderly.
They perform comprehensive and focused physical examinations; diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries; provide immunizations; manage high blood pressure, diabetes, depression and other chronic health problems; order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and EKGs, as well as laboratory tests; prescribe medications and therapies; perform procedures; and educate and counsel patients and their families regarding healthy lifestyles and health care options.
Nurse practitioners can prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in all 50 states. In 26 states, nurse practitioners have authority to practice independently
